LEISURE INDUSTRY- RESORT APPLICATION
GREEN ENERGY PROJECT - SOLAR, WIND, HYDROGEN, & GEOTHERMAL
Sunset Reef St. Kitts Resort
St Kitts - Caribbean Region
From its inception, Phase 1, the resort was focused on an environmentally sustainable luxury experience with a small ecological footprint. Currently installed is a geothermal system, reverse osmosis potable water generation, and recycled irrigation treatment systems. For Phase 2, Sunset Reef St. Kitts took a leadership position on the island, with the blessing from the St. Kitts government, to install affordable renewable energy technologies. Beyond energy capture from multiple renewable resources, the proven energy storage technology captures eco-friendly energy to support the resort operations. This installation powers the resort, feeds the grid, and in Phase 3, will charge EV vehicles, and create green hydrogen power for backup energy. This hybrid system effectively assists with the resorts transition away from petroleum dependency and high fuel costs. This microgrid technology is scalable and therefore a clear fit for their planed villa expansion across the coastline overlooking the beautiful Caribbean waters.
Consistent and reliable energy is important for growth and development in Caribbean islands. Taking into consideration the amount of energy and the costs to maintain electricity in one's country, SES provides a Modular and Scalable technology for on and off grid energy.
Core Benefit :
The Energy Storage Technology serves to provide everyday power to resort, act as back-up power for its neighbors during catastrophic and natural disasters, and provide sustainable power for guests while pursuing further recognition for eco-tourism.
Quick Facts :
Produces enough power with solar alone to power the resort operations during the day and at night using energy storage
Relives pressure from the fragile local grid and supports sustainable energy injection back into the grid.
Assures stable power for guests during their stay to increase customer satisfaction.
Provides critical infrastructure support and relief efforts during catastrophic events.
Avoidance of downtime and costs associated with blackouts, brownouts
Elimination of noise, high fuel costs and logistics, fossil fuel pollution and costly maintenance of a generator based system

LEISURE INDUSTRY- Marine
GREEN ENERGY PROJECT - Hydrogen Electric Power & Solar
Power Catamaran Prototype - Ripple Effect
Green “ Quiet and Serene” Yachting in the Caribbean & Gulf of Mexico - A New Perspective
In parallel with SES' advanced Microgrid Renewable Energy Platform and the Sunset Reef St. Kitts Sustainably Conscious Resort, SES Leadership team embarked on a marine project with a 65 FT power catamaran named "Ripple Effect". The goal is to provide the marine and yachting sector further proof of all that can be accomplished and many benefits of using proven renewable energy capture and highly sophisticated battery storage technology for marine applications.
Core Benefit :
The highly efficient use of Solar Energy for 24/7 electricity along with no hydrocarbon pollution, Ripple Effect is being retrofitted with hydrogen electric propulsion systems to be"completely green" in its day to day operations.
Quick Facts :
Capture of renewable energy
Cutting edge energy storage technology
Configuration of a hybrid propulsion system
Production of potable water as a byproduct of H2 Fuel cell operations
