March Milestone In St. Kitts

Today is a significant day in St. Kitts as it marks the first installation in the Caribbean for our provided Solid State Supercapacitor energy storage technology. This morning the Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew, and the Energy Minister, Konris Maynard, flipped the switch to turn on the power for the first time at Sunset Reef St. Kitts. The resort is now running on sustainable energy with solar production during the day that both sustains the load for the resort and charges the supercapacitor energy storage to be used in the evenings. The resort is now creating excess sustainable power that will be fed back to grid to support a mostly diesel power generated island. This is a big step towards a more resilient and sustainable energy grid in St. Kitts. We are very excited to have been able to share this historic day with government representatives from the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis as well as the team at Sunset Reef St. Kitts and Surface Energy Solutions. This is the first step towards LONG TERM ENERGY INDEPENDENCE here on the island of St. Kitts and at Sunset Reef St. Kitts.
